Multiple accounts can be integrated within Trillian and email notifications can be received, but there is the need of a plugin to really display actual notifications aside from those that appear when a user turns on the app.

You’ve Got Gmail for Trillian does not have a difficult installation process and it only requires the user to add it in the same folder as the chat client. From there on, users have the possibility to set up the small tool in order to have their email notifications displayed as they wish. Both the visual and audio notifications can be edited or removed, depending on one’s needs. Various sounds can be used and new ones can be selected for use, too.

You’ve Got Gmail for Trillian will automatically update the Gmail account every five minutes, in the standard mode. However, there is the possibility to edit this time in order to receive updates more or less often. Users can also manually refresh the account whenever they want to.
