Wise Folder Hider Portable permits the user to choose entire USB drives, folders, or individual folders to conceal. This portable program permits the user to conceal information in two distinct ways. The user can pull the folders or documents and drop them into the program window. They will directly show in the window with their full paths. The user can furthermore select one of the buttons “Hide Folder”, “Hide File”, or “Hide USB Drive”, and a window will emerge permitting to seek and choose precisely what has to be concealed.

Upon startup, the user will be asked to set a password before even the major program is reached. Once the password is set, Wise Folder Hider Portable will permit the user to hide files, folders, or external drives. The program lists the folders that are hidden from outlook and presents a drop-down option to “Unhide”, “Open”, or “Set Password”. The user may be confused at that issue because he/she have already granted the program a password. But this is a choice for a secondary password that farther defends the privacy and adds an extra layer of security. Clicking the folder in the program will open the folder.
