Vista – Shutdown Timer is a simple application designed for those that want to shut down their computer at a certain time during a day but they want an automatic, rather than a manual process. The tool launches itself at system start up and it can be found in the system tray. Users have quick access to all of the other main functions of the app by launching its main interface.

Vista – Shutdown Timer provides a simple and intuitive design and users can select one of the five different tasks available in the upper area of the window. They allow the user to shutdown, to restart the computer or to log off the current user.These tasks have mainly the same features and the most important one is the timer.

With the aid of Vista – Shutdown Timer, users can set the action to take place at a certain time in the day or they can use a countdown timer of 10, 20, 60 minutes and so on. After the countdown starts, the app can be taken back to the system tray. When the time is over, the selected action will be performed. Of course, users can also shut down their computer directly from the app without a timer.
