Developed as a tool for Windows systems such as Windows 98, 2000, and XP versions, TT Shadowsurf is available on a free to try basis for a limited duration. This tool is intended to help users securely and privately browse the net. It accomplishes this by hiding the users’ IP address and redirecting all network traffic through a proxy server. The tool automatically configures the browser to redirect the internet traffic through a selected proxy server. Although this tool claims to be an efficient privacy protection tool, running this application reduces the browsing speed. This is considered one of its major limitations. The tool can be configured to switch proxies every 15 minutes.
