Terming SureCrypt as simple would perhaps be an understatement stripped down as it is to the basic elements. It does not even require installation. The program’s executable file has to be run which pops up the small window containing the basic options of Key, Open, Encrypt and Decrypt. The help file is inadequate and might prove frustrating to the new users. The Key option used to make key files which can be utilized for encryption, remains an unexplained mystery. The biggest negative is the absence of encryption options with SureCrypt restricted to a 64bit key Rc4 cipher. Notwithstanding the simplicity of this utility, it loses out on several aspects to its counterparts.
