A Windows application, Disk Wipe, is intended to enable secure and permanent destruction of data. It not only guarantees clean removal or erasure of all data but also ensures that it cannot be retrieved. Formatting or dumping used and corrupted hard drives still leaves you with the risk of others having the ability to retrieve information from these disks. But with this application this limitation can be overcome. This tool uses several algorithms to fill the drives with useless and nonsensical binary data, which is stored in these drives multiple times. It is released as General Public License software and can be used for personal and professional requirements.
