Jasc Animation Shop is a photo editor application that can easily be used to create animations, too. The app can be installed within minutes and its interface is easy to understand as all of the main buttons are sorted in toolbars based on their category. There are a few “getting started” elements that provide insight on the main tools and features but users are free to start on their own.

Jasc Animation Shop allows users to edit existing photos but they also have the possibility to create new images from scratch. There are a number of available features to do so and multiple drawing tools are available. Colors can be added to each selected elements and gradients or textures can be placed, too. However, even if these might seem to be only available for non-animated images, this is not true.

Jasc Animation Shop supports users that want to create animated images from scratch and each frame can be edited on its own, although certain elements can be imported and preserved throughout all of the frames. The app can also be integrated in Paint Shop Pro and layers built with the aid of that tool can be further transformed into frames to create an animation.
