FreezBeat is a software in the class of media players with advanced features. It takes care that when you are not at the computer, it pauses your music or podcast. When you are back, it notices and resumes the playback from where you left off so that you never have to miss a beat. How it does this is by noticing simple things you do on your computer indicating that you are present. It detects your absence by the screensaver or locked computer and makes out that you are not listening to music. When you unlock computer or stop the screensaver, it knows that you are back. It also offers you the facility of automatically pausing the playback when you press a hotkey and when you press it again, it resumes.
