FineFiles is a file management application that lets you store files which are automatically maintain by Windows/NTFS. It stores information in invisible “Sidecar” files thus keeping you free from the maintaining complicated database. It has drag & drop access to sidecar data. This tool can be called a “programmable file processor”. Its common uses are to detect and prevent data degradation, to find and sort files by their properties and offer ability to keep additional data with important files. It has built-in operations for checking integrity of files and for evaluating variety of specific file information. It works with data in file name, internal metadata and invisible sidecar data.
