Developed by SSS Lab, Dark Files is designed to work in Windows 2000/2003/7/XP/Vista. It is a utility that allows users to restrict access to files and thereby enhance its protection or security. This tool allows you to determine the level of access that can be allotted to different files and to different users. Generally, three levels of access can be implemented with the help of this software. They are “Read-Only”, “Hidden”, and “Full Control”. Besides offering support to Windows systems, this utility also works equally well for Network folders. It can also be used to enhance security of files in removable media.
