BurnAware is an application that can be used by all sorts of users who need to create different types of discs. The utility is able to work with both CDs and DVDs and it is also compatible with re-writable discs or dual layer DVDs. The interface of the app is simple so that users have easy access to all of the main functions.

BurnAware allows users to create data discs and add all sorts of files onto them, but it also provides them the possibility of creating more specific types of discs. Audio CDs can be created with the aid of the app and the MP3 or other music file types will be converted to audio tracks. Then, they will be burned on the disc, but the user can also save the project and use it later.

BurnAware is able to create bootable discs starting from ISO images. The same ISO images can have their contents extracted locally with the aid of the app but a new image can be created, too.
