Designed and developed by Runtime Software, DriveImage XML is a user-friendly backup and recovery utility that is intended to help users create backups of their system partitions and logical drives. Available as a free to use software application, this tool has been developed for Windows XP systems. With this tool, you will be able to create backups of your drives and partitions to image files; view, extract, and restore files; browse the backed-up image files; restore the backup to the same location or different location; or even copy directly from one drive to another. The tool is integrated with Microsoft’s Volume Shadow Services to create the images, which are stored in XML and can be accessed by other applications.
