ZipSnap

A free to use software application, ZipSnap is a command line backup application that is intended to help users implement backup of their directories. Supported in various Windows platforms such as Windows 7, XP, and Vista versions; this tool is a product that has been designed and developed by Zach Scrivena. The tool implements backups by executing compressed point-in-time snapshots of the data, and adds only modifications or changes in the subsequent backups. The tool makes use of a catalog feature to add new snapshots without having to access the previous ZIP volumes. It automatically numbers the files with a timestamp. It can be implemented in any OS that supports Java Runtime Environment (JRE 6+).
