As suggested by the name, this freeware component is designed to provide extensive support for UML. The application is equipped with templates for the six most commonly used UML diagrams- State diagram, use case diagram, class diagram, activity diagram, package diagram and sequence diagram. Visual Modeler for UML also supports many technical diagrams.
This software can export the various diagrams in the common graphics format for better readability and the model of the diagrams are exported in XML. The GUI interface is a simple, straight and intuitive. Most of the components and shapes can be ‘dragged and dropped’ and there are many smart editing options. All in all, it is a program that covers all bases of the Unified Modeling language.
