Virtual Villagers: The Secret City carries forward the legacy of the previous games in the same franchise, and the plot is the same. There are a bunch of villagers who had been stranded on an island, and then worked towards making it a prosperous and civilized place to live. Now the things are going great and the island has been thriving. However, now you feel the need to explore the island completely and also expand your horizons. However, things soon go wrong, and then you have to make the best choices that you can and get the villagers out of trouble.

At the beginning, you will have to construct a raft, and then select the few well skilled villagers, children, and also a few builders. Soon, the breeze goes off, and then you are stuck in a part of the island that is unknown to you. However, the place where you are stranded is not your own island, but a foreign one. There seems to be a civilization there but the island is deserted. The premise of the game is same as that you now have to learn to settle down in this new island. You have a few builders and children with you to help you, and you will have to move ahead with that.

Also, there are a lot of secrets embedded into the island and you will have to work your way through those levels to find them and use them to your advantage. The graphics are very good, and the simulation of the game is very realistic. The difficulty levels in the game add a good angle to the game making it fun for beginners and well as seasoned players of all ages. All in all, Virtual Villagers: The Secret City is a very entertaining game to play.
