Virtual CD is an application that can be used in order for users to extend the functionality of their CD or DVD drive by providing support for performing other tasks. Virtual CD provides support for the creation of virtual disc images. The user needs to have a disc in the tray and the app will be able to read its contents. Afterwards, the image will be created, using the format that the user required. The task is performed quickly and the parameters are already set up at optimal values. A virtual blank can also be created by users and here, data from a local path can be added.

Virtual CD also has a burner tool added within itself so that users can create CDs and DVDs with the aid of the application. Besides this classic burning feature, there is also that of copying discs. This way, 1:1 copies of various discs can be created. There are multiple settings which can be accessed from the dedicated tab and they are related to the burning speed and not only.
