The users of the TumblRipper software can backup their TumblR pictures or any other picture that they might have on their photo blogs to their hard disks. This tool is a standalone application, which does not require any separate installation. Furthermore, this tool is capable of downloading all the photos contained in any given TumblR blog automatically.
TumblRipper application downloads only those pictures, which the users have not already downloaded from a selected photo blog. This tool tries to download preferentially 1280 pi pictures, but if unable to find any then opts for those with lower pixel count. Finally, this program maintains the original dates of the original upload while also saving a small text file containing the blog URL for easy updating.
