StartOrbz is an application which allows users to customize the look of their Start button of Windows. Its standard look might get boring after a while and having an alternative is more than welcome. This is why this app provides full support for image conversion so that many types of icons can be fitted to the parameters required by Windows.

StartOrbz does not require users to import images of the exact size required for the explorer.exe icon. Instead, it automatically resizes the icon so that it can perfectly fit instead of the original one. The tool also takes care of alpha bitmaps and it manages to create flawless ones for each image that is loaded. This way, the quality is ensured and users receive no low-quality Start buttons.

StartOrbz allows users to further edit the image and also add a series of meta information. There are also Orb sets available on the Internet and they can be imported within this tool so that users can choose one of the icons displayed in the pack. If users have multiple orbs they want to periodically change, the app can save them for later use and multiple categories can also be defined for easier organization.
