PrivacyGuard is a system clean-up software that enables users to not only clean up their system, by deleting unnecessary files, but also determine which of these files needs to be retained. It comprises an easy setup wizard that guides users through the cleaning process and enables them to select cookies, files, or URLs that need to be retained. It even provides the option for users to pick up unimportant files that can be added to the recently-used document list. This application is also secured through password-protection and encryption of its registry files, making it highly-secure. Its greatest limitation is it works only with Internet Explorer.
