NFReader works well with multiple feed types in order to provide users a maximum of usability when it comes to keeping up to date with news from the favorite websites. This application supports multiple feed types, such as the classic RSS, but also feeds in ATOM or RDF formats. They can all be added to the main list within a few mouse clicks.

NFReader has a simple interface which consists of three columns. The first one allows users to see a list of their feeds and organize them by categories. The second one provides headlines of the latest posts which have been made on a certain website that is selected and the last column is the one which provides the content of a link in plain format.

NFReader requires no installation process and it runs as a portable app so users can take it on a USB flash drive and still have their feeds with them. However, feeds can also be exported separately as an OPML file. This file can be later imported on a new device. There is the possibility to add certain links to a favorites list so that the most important content is easily reachable in the future.
