Lucid Electronics Workbench is the software to calculate the value of a load resistor for a LED, i.e. a Light Emitting Diode, depending upon the supply voltage and the LED characteristics. This program offers a large number of standard LED products, from which the user can pick out the proper one as per his or her choice. It can calculate the values for Diodes, capacitors, output voltage as well as load current.

After calculating the value of the load resistor, Lucid Electronic Workbench can display a table of standard resistor values. This table helps the user to choose the closest resistor value to perform the intended task. This is not all, as this tool offers a large variety of choice for power supply types from which the user can choose the one he or she likes.

By getting the values of the transformer voltage and power supply load entered in the power supply type chosen by the user, this program can calculate those various entities.
