Kindle for PC is an application designed to increase the usability of Kindle ebook readers as now, books can be easily imported and read while staying at the computer. It is not difficult to install this app, because the process is simple as it does not feature too many screens and there are no other add-ons that might be installed, too. The interface is clean and allows users to see all of their books using multiple sorting methods. Users can sort books not only by the classic alphabetic methods, but now they can also arrange books with respect to the last access date. This way, people can know about the books that they haven’t read.

In order to bring Kindle ebooks to the computer, the application makes use of a syncing built-in tool, called Whispersync. This has been added in order to ease up the process of transferring files between the two devices, as it works both ways. The synchronizing process is simple and only features a list and a Start button. The list allows users to select which type of files they want to be synced with the computer and afterwards, the wizard will take care of everything, in a matter of seconds.

This way, not only the books themselves can be brought to the computer. Moreover, various notes and bookmarks related to each book can be accessed and they can be further edited. The Kindle Shop is also present in the PC installment of the application and here, users can browse with ease for various books that are present in the shop. If they decide to download one, they can either send it directly to the Kindle device or they can save it to the computer. The latter method then allows the book to be synced with the device.
