Inbox2 is an application designed to keep users updated with information without having them open multiple browser tabs and log onto different accounts in order to achieve this. The tool is mainly an email client, but it can work with other types of accounts to provide increased support to its users and save them a lot of time daily.

Inbox2 has a dark themed interface which is nicely designed and there are other downloadable themes available. Users have the possibility to connect with about ten main services, including Yahoo Mail or Gmail, but there is also the possibility to connect with a Facebook account and have access to the messages sent and received there. Moreover, the tool can be used to communicate with Facebook friends without having to open a browser tab anymore. On top of this, each account will display desktop notifications when new content is received.

Inbox2 keeps all of the connected accounts tabbed and featuring personalized icons so that users can quickly switch between them, when needed. The left sidebar contains links towards the folders of an email account, while the right sidebar is designed to provide tips regarding the app. This one can be deactivated, if users want to do this. Deactivating this sidebar will increase the viewing space of emails from the middle column.
