Glint is for all those users who like being in control of things! It is a tiny, effective system monitoring utility which requires no installation. Though small in size, the program allows you to be in control of over 200 different parameters and elements on your system. Some of these include memory usage, processor load, hard drive read/write tasks, current active processes and upload/download speed rates. Using the app is so simple. It presents a small panel on the screen which you can customize by adjusting indicators and size. One can select minibar, larger or standard view or graphs, between bars and flashing lights. Right click the interface to see the context menu that gives access to the options available. There is also a configurable and extensive settings menu that makes it a suitable tool for techie users. Other good thing is that the tool is very lightweight and portable.
