ExamDiff Pro is a file scanner that can be easily used by novices and professionals in order to see if two files have differences between them. Text files and folders can be scanned in order to find differences and users will be instantly informed about the results. Getting through each entry might take a while, but this only depends on the user’s capabilities.

ExamDiff Pro firstly requires two source files to be added and afterwards, users can allow the utility to start the analysis process, which takes seconds to complete when it comes to text files. Differences will be highlighted within each file and this way, users can see what is present in one of them and absent in the other one. This can also be used as a plagiarism checker.

Depending on the user’s needs, ExamDiff Pro can highlight whole paragraphs or just words that are different. Moved text chunks are also marked accordingly and they are not interpreted as differences. Shell integration is available and this way, files can be compared directly from Windows Explorer, with the results being displayed in the main window app. There are certain ignore rules that can be defined, related to white space and not only, to make results more relevant.
