EF Commander is a file management application built in the style of Total Commander, but with a cleaner interface and slight modifications which provide more flexibility. The GUI is adapted to nowadays interfaces and users should have no problems while accessing the quick buttons of each tool. If they still want greater access speeds, they can also assign hotkeys to various tasks.

The two panels available in EF Commander allow users to easily transfer files between two folders and each of them can have special tasks assigned within a couple of mouse clicks. The basic functions are present but users can also work with network drives in addition to the classic ones. These ones can be edited as well and users can also disconnect them from the computer.

EF Commander supports commands for general computer tasks, such as shut down. A basic FTP manager is included and users can type in their login credentials to create a connection with a website. A burner tool is available for users that need to create CDs and DVDs and people can also use this application if they want to format disks, whether they do it quick or give the tool time to do a full format.
