DC++ is a simple and easy to use software which allows you to exchange files through direct connect system with users of this application from all over the world. DC++ and Direct Connect use “hubs”, which are some kind of chat rooms, to exchange files. As any kind of chat list, each “hub” has its own set of rules and, to a degree, a requirement of a minimum number of files shared and, also, a set number of uploads. DC++ is fully compatible with Direct Connect, being a convenient alternative to this software for it has more beneficial features, such as allowing the user to connect to more than one hub at a given time and provides a more user friendly interface.
