CSVed is a powerful file editor designed for CSV files. These “comma separated view” files can be used to build different types of databases as it relies on columns and rows in order to organize data as a spreadsheet. Users can install the tool quickly and then, they will be greeted by a simple interface which provides quick access to different tools.

CSVed allows users to quickly import CSV files and start working with them. However, there is the possibility to add a blank file and then import just fields from another CSV file. Each of the fields that appears can be easily edited and it can also be deleted. The separator can be changed so that files can be edited in specific ways.

CSVed allows users to change the order of columns so they gain new priority levels when needed. They can also bring rows up or down. Items can be filtered with ease and a search and replace tool is also available. Duplicates within a CSV files can be analyzed and removed, with a log file provided. Multiple CSV files can be merged, even if they do not have the same characteristics, but it is advisable to only do this with similarly built files.
