BitBuddy is a torrent client that might seem a little bit different in the beginning. The interface of this app is fairly simple, comparable with that of other utilities, but it includes a sidebar which provides access to new content. People usually browse more than a single torrent website and they can now add bookmarks of each visited site into the sidebar.

However, BitBuddy is also able to manage other types of lists and websites and users can add more sites to the already present ones. In the upper side of the sidebar, there are a few buttons that allow users to easily switch between different modes, such as leeching and seeding. The main window of the app provides quick access to the list of torrents, either downloading or finished.

BitBuddy displays more data after users select one torrent. In a window which is placed lower on the interface, a lot of details appear, such as the size, the number of files within the torrent, elapsed time and many more. There is the possibility to edit different options of the utility, such as proxy and port settings. Destination folders can be designated and other network and connection settings are also accessible.
