Ashampoo Photo Optimizer is a piece of software that allows optimization of digital photographs for both amateur as well as professional users. The software is uniquely designed to accomplish small tasks of digital photography that includes straightening, red eye removal, rotating, color correction etc.

For amateur users the software comes with a one click optimization option that helps the amateur users to rectify little errors in the picture without worrying about the picture quality. Other than the features of the software mentioned above, the software also helps in adding watermarks to the pictures which may be texts or even pictures. The software is powered with an easy user interface that consist of the user’s file system on the left panel where the user can choose the image file to work with. On the lower part of the interface it consists of the thumbnails of the image files within a selected folder. On the right side, the panel consists of the most used effects that are used by the user. For more options, the users can get the additional features on the menu bar.

The software has easy sharing options that allow easy sharing of photos on the social networking sites or other selected sites. Batch processing allows more than one file to be processed at once. The software has support for all versions of Windows.
