ALToolbar is a free to use software application that is intended as a plug-in for Internet Explorer. Supported in various Windows systems, this tool can be implemented in Windows 2000, 7, XP, and Vista versions. Once installed, the toolbar gets added to your Internet Explorer window. The tool comprises Search and Capture functions, besides a Bookmark feature. However, this feature along with the ALPass requires the creation of an online account and email validation. The validation email does not come through if your mail has spam filter settings configured. This is considered one of its limitations. Similarly, during the uninstallation process, the tool fails to remove software updater folder and the installation directory. This is another of its limitations.
