Alternate Textbrowser is a program that makes it easy for you to to browse text and HTML files along with syntax highlighting for several languages like C++, Pascal, PHP, Perl, etc. It lets you open multiple text files simultaneously and reload opened files. You can even audit the text files and reload them if changes are noticed. It also includes a Hex-editor with multiple methods to display files as bytes. Syntax highlighting is available for several languages and you can even extend the list of filetypes for each language till you find them fit to meet your needs. You can turn the feature off if you do not want any highlighting.
